Partnerships at Vista
Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation
Vista Academy is enrolled in a partnership with Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation. This organization's mission is to build a strong, equitable East New York, where youth and adults achieve educational and economic success, secure and preserve affordable housing, and develop leadership skills to transform their lives and community.
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
Vista Academy is enrolled in a partnership with Lincoln Center for the Arts. The center embeds their mission, "To enrich the lives of students, educators, and lifelong learners by providing opportunities for engagement with the arts on stage, in the classroom, online, and in the community," in order to encourage our scholars to invest their potential in developing their creativity through the arts.
Brooklyn Conservatory of Music
Vista Academy is invested in holistically educating every scholar. Therefore, we have collaborated with the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music in order to grant our scholars an exploration of music education. The Brooklyn Conservatory of music, "Music Partners brings weekly, intensive music instruction to students who otherwise would not have music as part of their day. Music Partners programs include recorder ensemble, music and movement, choir, string ensemble, and band."
